Insert ball bearings
Insert ball bearings, also known as Y-bearings, are specially designed for mounting in bearing housings. These are deep groove ball bearings, sealed on both sides. The outer ring can be either cylindrical or spherical, allowing for compensation of shaft misalignment. The inner ring of these bearings is often extended on one or both sides. They are fixed onto the shaft using eccentric locking collars, set screws in the inner ring, or adapter sleeves. These bearings are extremely easy to install and remove.
