Rail motion - CONTINENTAL - Bearings and bearings housing INA
Rail guides are high-precision linear motion systems designed for applications requiring high load capacity and stability. They consist of a rail and linear carriages (blocks) that provide smooth and precise motion with minimal friction. These guides are widely used in mechanical engineering, automation, CNC machines, and robotics thanks to their reliability, durability, and ability to operate under demanding conditions. Rail guides offer a long service life and optimal performance for industrial and precision engineering projects.
INA was founded in Herzogenaurach, Germany in 1946. The company started out manufacturing handcarts, but also invented the caged needle bearing, leading to a deeper focus on precision products and helping the company develop into bearing manufacturing. For decades, INA has been synonymous with precision quality, in-depth knowledge and manufacturing expertise. Today, INA products are used in industry, with new solutions being developed daily. In 2001 INA bought FAG and the name of the combined company is Schaeffler Group. The company invests heavily in development and has over 24,000 active patents and patent applications. There are over 2,300 new patent applications every year, making it the second most innovative company in Germany according to the German Patent Office.
