Adapter sleeves are suitable for mounting bearings with a tapered bore onto a cylindrical shaft. They do not require any additional means of axial fastening to the shaft. These sleeves are supplied as a set with a lock nut and lock washer. For sleeves with an inner diameter equal to or greater than 140 mm, designs with oil ducts allow the use of a hydraulic method for mounting and dismounting.
